Do you know anyone with CFS, fibromyalgia or ME?
I am delighted to announce that today I gained accreditation as a Foundation Level Chrysalis Effect Practitioner.
The Chrysalis Effect (www.thechrysaliseffect.com) is an organisation that supports sufferers with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), fibromyalgia and M.E. (Myalgic encephalomyelitis) on the way to full recovery. These conditions can affect all body systems but are most commonly characterised by long-term disabling tiredness, muscular pains, joint pains, disturbed sleep, brain fog and headaches.
The Chrysalis Effect is unique in that it offers a holistic guided approach to recovery. If you are suffering from one of these conditions, then you may feel that you are not listened to, that no-one understands how you feel and that your life, as you know it, is over. You may have been told that there will be no recovery and that you have to accept and live with your condition. You may have tried many quick-fix solutions and been to countless practitioners.
CFS, fibromylagia and M.E. are multifaceted conditions that lie beneath the surface for many years until a trigger sets off a multitude of symptoms.
The Chrysalis Effect is not a quick-fix solution. It may take up to a year to reach full recovery, but the testimonials on their website demonstrate that it is possible.
As a registered nutritional therapist, I am now part of the Chrysalis Effect community of practitioners, adding my nutritional expertise to the team of physiotherapists, hypnotherapists, reflexologists, naturopaths and well-being coaches, who work together to support clients on the road to recovery.
